Sonnie L. Canoy is a multifaceted artist with a primary focus in painting and illustration. She explores themes of childhood and nostalgia in her work, due, in part, to her long standing work in the childcare system. Sonnie also uses her art as a means of healing; regularly using the canvas as a sort of pseudo-therapist.
